Jorjana
Letow was inspired to create artwork from a young
age with experiences in girl scouts to working with
needlepoint and cross-stitch throughout high school.
When it came time to select a degree plan at the
University of North Texas, she combined an art minor
with elementary teaching. Jorjana has been an
employee of Frito-Lay/Pepsico for 20 years.
Jorjana’s creativity inspired her to try her hand
at a watercolor class listed in a summer recreation
catalog. She quickly grew to love the medium and has
pursued training during the 6 years since with
influential teachers including Sue Alston and Mary
Griffin. Jorjana has been a board member of the
Plano Art Association since 2003 and has received
numerous awards and honors for her works:

Jorjana strives to capture and
express what makes life special and miraculous
through her paintings. Drawing upon her keen skill
for insightful observation, she succeeds in
capturing the uniqueness of everyday objects:
Longhorn steers sunning, tractors being overburdened
by crows, Japanese gardens, and wonderful
butterflies to name a few.
